I love a good cocktail, and normally they are dramatically expensive. But they’re so beautiful and tasty. So I made a list of places where you can try some pricy cocktails that are worth 2 hrs of minimum wage work.
Bathtub Gin at Mather’s Social Gathering $15.00
What you’re paying for:
- An amazing luxurious bar environment inspired by the prohibition era.
- This cocktail has some good gin in it
- Mather's puts this cocktail into a SUPER cute clawed bathtub (they put down a $25 deposit on your card when you order this because so many people were stealing the tubs!)
- Frank Sinatra music is playing almost the entire evening 🙌🏻
- You get a nice little buzz from 1 Bev
- Tip: If you want cheaper drinks they also have a happy hour from 4-6 on weekdays
- This location is in Downtown Orlando so think about parking
Custom Beverage at Cocktails and Screams ~$20.00
What you’re paying for:
- A cocktail made just for you
- This is a speak-easy within Cocktails and Screams
- The bartender will ask what you like to drink and then create a beverage that speaks to your tastebuds.
- There are a lot of Fairy/Nymph vibes once you get inside. The place looks like it’s straight out of Peter Pan if they had a bar in Neverland.
- The ingredients are all very fresh, they even serve absinthe (straight) as a cocktail option
- You can also get your taro cards read if you're into that sorta thing
- This location is in Downtown Orlando so think about parking
Go Cry In The Walk-In (spicy margarita) at Tori Tori Pub - $10
What you’re paying for:
- Tori Tori’s buzzing Mills 50 environment
- Emerald green everything, untormented bathrooms
- 90’s plastic water cups
- Plus the tajin chili lime salted rim
- The flavor is just the right amount of spice and can last you a good long while in case you're looking for a sipper beverage.
- Buzz quality: high 👍🏻
- Tori Tori is located in the Mills50 District, right on the outskirts of Downtown Orlando
The Uh Oa! At Trader Sam’s at the Polynesian Resort - $23.00
What you’re paying for:
- FIRE! A SHOW! A LOT OF DRINK!
- FIRE! A SHOW! A LOT OF DRINK!
- There are probably 30+ people waiting to get in this 25 capacity bar, so, follow your heart on that one!
- This place is on Disney property and parking is FREE (But also make a reservation with the bar so you're not waiting forever to get in).
From tequila to rum, to gin, all of these cocktails are both strong and beautiful, and of course #instagramable.
