4 Orlando Breweries That Are Worth The Money

Each accompanied by a brewery dog

I love myself a good crafty beer, but sometimes I feel like I'm being robbed when I have to pay $8 for one that was just o-k.

Thankfully, I've found some brewery spots that are not too expensive and still very good. Even for people who only drink white claws.

Speaking of the claw, breweries are even crafting their own seltzers now! How artisan/grow-your-market of them.

beer and pretzel

#1 Ten10

Located in the Mills50 District, Ten10 has great beers and food, specifically their pretzels and beer cheese 🥨

My favorite beer from there is black gold (go knights).

The Black Gold is a White Stout with dark Belgian chocolate and Lineage coffee. Having some sweet/coffee notes to it.

They are very creative with their brews here. I'll never forget the time they created a brew with guacamole in it (I loved it, it was called 'I know it costs extra').

If you're contemplating what beers to try, or new to the craft beer scene, I always recommend ordering a flight!

‼️There's also no shame in asking for samples either‼️

A pint can be a big commitment if it tastes gross to you. Trust me.

#2 Crooked Can

Placed in Winter Garden, this brewery is located in the Plant Street Market. Having both great indoor and outdoor spaces.

If you are #FloridaLocal #LocalsOnly #FloGrown 😐😅 Crooked Can is most commonly known for its high stepper and cloud chaser hanging out in the Publix Craft Beer section.

But Iiii thinks the Domestic Bliss (Belgian Golden Strong Ale) and their flights are more worthy for purchasing.

One Domestic Bliss ABV is 9.5%. I can almost guarantee you'll be feeling some type-of-way by the time you're finished with one 🥴 If you're interested in such a cost-benefit analysis.

Crooked Can creates so many different styles of brews that it'd be a shame to only try one! This is why I typically purchase a flight to try both the classics and the newbies.

There's also plenty of food spots in the same building to hit up when you're done! BurgerFi is also right across the street, you can even smell the french fries.

#3 Ellipsis Brewing

Located by the MCO international airport, within ✨corporate building paradise✨

Ellipsis has a very relaxed atmosphere amongst the staff and its guests.

People here are here to drink good beer, not pound them down.

Ellipsis normally (pre-covid) has SO many trivia and game nights spread throughout the whole month. Definitely might be different now.

I've attended the Harry Potter night and I was definitely tested with my trivia knowledge.

Ellipsis is also super dog-friendly. So if you love doggos like me, or have a chill one yourself, bring 'em over!

They are known for their amazing beer can design work (IMO - in my opinion). I always go for a New England IPA when I'm there, they have loads to choose from!

Preferably, Brazil Loves New England (Dry hopped with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra).

#4 Hourglass Brewery

Hourglass Brewery can be found in Longwood and on Curry Ford, yay for 2 locations!

They have TONS of selections to choose from, but I love ordering the 2 million bees DIPA (Double IPA)😍 so GOOD!

The history behind the name is it takes 2 million bees worth of honey to create one batch of the brew. It's a bright yet subtle infusion of orange blossom honey and two styles of hops.

It's sweet but not too sweet, it sits up there with the flavor profile of the Domestic Bliss from Crooked Can.

Small disclaimer: Hourglass Brewery carries A LOT of sour-style beers.

I definitely recommend sampling a few beers before buying a whole pint full of something that may be too tart for you.

If you wind up checking out any of these breweries be sure to let me know! You can tag me @allysoneatz or #allysoneatz so I can see what you tried!

Until next time 👋
