Armando’s - Orlando Italian Restaurant

It's Europe in Orlando, what can I say.

Armando’s is known for its great Italian gourmet dishes, various wine selections, al fresco dining, and their pizza’s of course.

They have 3 locations now which is incredible! Having just been to the Lake Nona Location, I can proudly say it tastes just as good as Winter Park.

My very first encounter with Armando’s for my friend's birthday. We ordered a bunch of different pizzas to share while ordering lots of wine 🍷 it was an incredible night!

Armando’s is definitely a place you can dress up for, the ambiance is lovely so you almost want to look nice when you go there.

Even if you get marinara sauce on your clothes by the time you leave, it’s okay. Because it was really freaking good marinara.

My third time dining at Armando's (I'll spare you the details of my 2nd encounter, bad blind date) I finally found my go-to order.

We arrived at Armando’s at golden hour, which already was perfect. We got to dine in a greenhouse room that was beautiful.

Armando's is very generous with their wine samples, I’d recommend sampling a few before investing in a full glass. Each wine really tastes so different so don’t be shy to ask!

I ordered the Pinot Grigio, Bel Vento White Wine. I remember this because it was the 2nd cheapest one that they had 😂 ($9), and it’s imported from Italy.

This wine tasted like crisp clean water (less acidity) with hints of the white wine flavor, it was incredible.

Which leads us to my go-to order.

My Go-to order at Armando’s:

  • Pinot Grigio, Bel Vento - $9
  • Margherita - $12.95
  • Tiramisu - Not on their menu but it was special when we went, I think it was $7 but I’d still order it again
  • Total: ~ $28.95

If you're wanting to go out for a birthday, an amazing (or awkward) first date, you'll have no problem having a 5-star dining experience on a budget.

Plus, if you do splurge on some dishes in the $20's, Armando's scratch-made style and coziness is totally worth it.
